Basic characteristics of FRP
The scientific name of FRP is glass fiber reinforced plastic, which is a new type of engineering material compounded with synthetic resin as matrix and glass fiber as reinforcing material.
The main features of FRP are: light weight, high strength, anti-corrosion, heat preservation, insulation, sound insulation, long life and so on.
1、Light weight and high strength
Relative density between 1.5~2.0, only 1/4~1/5 of carbon steel, but the tensile strength is close to or even more than carbon steel, and the strength can be compared with high-grade alloy steel, has the advantage of light weight and high strength;
Corrosion resistance
Through the use of different types of resin, can withstand a variety of acids, alkalis, salts and oils and solvents, can be widely used in all aspects of chemical corrosion, can replace stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and other materials, reduce costs;

5、Good low temperature resistance
Can be used at -80℃ temperature, suitable for cold areas;
6, good thermal performance
Low thermal conductivity, room temperature 1.25 ~ 1.67KJ (m.h.k), only 1/100 ~ 1/1000 of the metal, coefficient of expansion of 2 × 10-5 / ℃, is an excellent adiabatic material;
